Seri Menanti

On 19th June 2009 I visited the old Istana Seri Menanti, after a Mention at Kuala Pilah Court. A visit I did not plan.
A guide sort of insisted to follow me on my tour inside the palace probably because I was alone. Did I look scared ? I was not scared in the least. I climbed up till the attic, alone. Took a few shots inside there, trying to visualize princes and princesses living their live therein the palace a long time ago.
There was a group of secondary school students, probably on an assignment.
Below are pictures of the exterior of the palace.
Cantik tak gambar-gambar I amek ni ?

Salam Cikgu,
Sorry about what you went thru on your 49th birthday.
Men are like that when it comes to driving, aren’t they?
I think the accident was so petty the only ‘offence’ you could be charged with could be under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules ie failure to exercise due control over you vehicle. Usually both parties are at fault. But since he did not report he committed another offence; we must adversely infer that he’s at fault huh …?
I once was hit from the other side when pulling my car out of a parking slot. Three Indian guys came out, obviously to intimidate me and to ask me to pay. I doubt it if it was my fault. I refused saying let’s settle the matter at the police station after we make a report.
They obviously did not want to make a police report. So I left.
One samseng who used to be a client bashed a victim’s windscreen with a hockey stick when the victim refused to pay and wanted to report to the police instead. I was lucky that day they were not like that samseng. Or probably they didn’t have a chance to play mafioso that day.
